NICKLEBACK (If Everyone Cared), Touching Lyrics

NICKLEBACK
“If Everyone Cared”

From underneath the trees, we watch the sky
Confusing stars for satellites
I never dreamed that you’d be mine
But here we are, we’re here tonight

Singing Amen, I’m alive
Singing Amen, I’m alive

[CHORUS]
If everyone cared and nobody cried
If everyone loved and nobody lied
If everyone shared and swallowed their pride
We’d see the day when nobody died

And I’m singing

Amen I, I’m alive
Amen I, I’m alive

And in the air the fireflies
Our only light in paradise
We’ll show the world they were wrong
And teach them all to sing along

Singing Amen I’m alive
Singing Amen I’m alive

[CHORUS (X2)]

And as we lie beneath the stars
We realize how small we are
If they could love like you and me
Imagine what the world could be

If everyone cared and nobody cried
If everyone loved and nobody lied
If everyone shared and swallowed their pride
We’d see the day when nobody died

We’d see the day, we’d see the day
When nobody died
We’d see the day, we’d see the day
When nobody died
We’d see the day when nobody died

…………………………….

Hmmm,,this is my first review…

One things that I love from these words is the touching combination. Yeah, it’s an ordinary words, but, look at the means of this lyrics! It just remind me about many things happen in many countries and cities. If everyone cared, nobody fell on the narcotics, cried for their AIDS, slept with their hunger…

But this song is emphasized to the war. Yeah, let’s back to the recent wars. How much women and kids died? Are they the truly evil or only been a victims? That right, these theme obtain endless questions and take too much answers. Can you give it a question and answer it by your self?
